Anshei Minsk Synagogue
The building's formal construction began in 1922 and was completed in 1930, joining approximately 30 synagogues located in the Spadina-Kensington Market area. Today, the Minsk continues to offer daily and holiday prayer services. People from all Jewish religious backgrounds are made welcome when attending. The Minsk has the architectural look and feel of a traditional Eastern European synagogue of the 1930s, which makes it unique among the numerous synagogues located in and around the GTA.
