The Grange
The Grange is a historic manor in downtown Toronto, part of the Art Gallery of Ontario. The structure was built in 1817, making it the fourth oldest surviving building in the city. It was built by D'Arcy Boulton Jr., one of the town's leading citizens and part of the powerful Boulton family. The Boultons played an important role in the Family Compact a wealthy, conservative group of elites in Upper Canada in the early 19th century.
