Redpath Sugar Refinery
Redpath Sugars is Canada's oldest sugar company, being founded in Montreal in 1854. The Redpath Toronto Refinery was the first industrial facility specifically constructed to coincide with the opening of the St. Lawrence Seaway and was officially opened by Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth, in 1959. This award-winning, world-class sugar refinery currently operates 24 hours a day and is located at 95 Queens Quay West.
