Heritage Toronto
Heritage Toronto is a charitable organization responsible for the conservation of heritage in the city. The agency was formed on April 4th, 1949 as the Toronto Civic Historical Committee and had its name change to Heritage Toronto on January 1st, 2000. Heritage Toronto now promotes and celebrates over 5,500 identified sites and structures of historic significance. It is one of the oldest, largest, volunteer-driven heritage charities in Canada.
