Mackenzie House
Mackenzie House is a historic home in Toronto and home to the city's first mayor William Lyon Mackenzie. The Greek Revival row house built in the early 1800s and it was home to the publisher, Rebellion of 1837 leader. Mackenzie later fled to the United States and returned later to the city. He is related to Canadian Prime Minister William Lyon Mackenzie King. Visitors to the Mackenzie House report that the house is supposedly haunted by William Mackenzie; allegedly seen working his printing press.
